Firefest 2013 - 10th Anniversary!

edition (1000 copies) of the 1988 s/t Alien debut album
(collaborating /w EMI Greece and Virgin Scandinavia).
Original cover and 12 tracks, booklet /w photos and lyrics.

ALIEN DEBUT RE-ISSUED WITH ORIGINAL ARTWORK

One of the best AOR albums of the 80s, Alien's self-titled debut,
will be re-released in its original form, with the first cover
by EMI/No Remorse Records, December 14.

An absolute rare AOR gem from one of the most popular
Swedish melodic bands, finally available again!

Alien were one of the first Swedish acts to sign a worldwide
major label deal. Alien debut album is a rarity these days...
Until now!

Including melodic classics that speak straight to the heart like
“Feel My Love”, “Tears Don't Put Out The Fire” and “Brave
New Love”. Booklet comes with photos and lyrics.

Flix facts

Doug Freel was chosen to direct our "Tears..." video,
mainly because of the four videos he did for Def Leppard's
Hysteria album (Animal, Hysteria, Woman, Love bites).



So cool that he, the year after, would also direct the
Black Velvet video for Alannah, filmed on her family
ranch at the 300 year old cabin.



...and that our ways would cross and I would get to work
with her some 15 yrs later - not with Doug directing,
though ;-)  //Ken

Alien cousine! ;-)

Alien is to be featured in the follow up to the unique cookbook
"Metal Munchers - The Festival Edition", titled "The Second Coming".

Swedish rock bands (with emphasis on heavy metal) participate with
their favorite dishes, promotion pictures, band presentations etc.
Also contributing, some of Sweden's finest photographers and artists.

Set for an early 2013 release, followed by an English edition.
