Eternity artwork

The ambition with this new album was to make it feel like a
natural follow up to our 1988 debut, and for the original lineup
it IS the sequel! Working title has been ALIEN II, even.
That would obviously have been a WAY too confusing title,
though! So, ETERNITY it is...

As with the music, we wanted the artwork to connect to the
debut album feel, as well. Think we stay quite true to the genre ;)

Firefest top 10!

With around 140 bands over ten years, Firefest polled
the fans via Facebook (prior to the 10th Anniversary)
to discover the top 10 greatest performances.

We're absolutely thrilled to find Alien (2011) at 8th!
Thanks FF, you're the greatest crowd ever!

Old flames die hard

Fans of our debut might like to know that we've reconnected
with co-writers Pam Barlow & Janet Morrison Minto for the
coming album!! The girls have written lyrics to a whole bunch
of our new songs, turned out great... just you wait! ;)

Jim, last time around... hard at work at Sound City, LA in '88.

We're now taking a short break in the album production,
preparing for the "Firefest, 10th Anniversary" show. Looking
forward to meet all you AOR heads in Nottingham again! :)

Classic Rock Magazine: AOR

Classic Rock (presents) AOR #9 feature an ALIEN interview,
talking about the upcoming Firefest (10th annviversary show)
performance... and of course the new album in the making.

Also, Ken is on the (15 track) CD sampler "AOR: Supersonic",
coming with the magazine - in Chasing Violets "Deception In
Heaven" (of the Jade Hearts album).

Keyboards... check!

Last two weeks have seen the Alien production come alive
with Jimmy's mighty keyboard arrangements!

Although the lion's share of the sounds for the album are
created, uniquely by Jimmy, with modern technology -
we enjoyed blending a few vintage keys in the production.

Although mainly based on the Wandroph signature Alien
type sounds... there'll even be some B3 organ, Stanway
grand, Rhodes etc. in there (if you listen closely). ;)
